Quotes

Quotes work like invoices: the same form, lines, taxes, notes and PDF, with their own numbering and the title Quote.

Statuses

A quote is Open while you wait for an answer, and Closed once it is accepted or refused.

From quote to invoice

When the client says yes, open the quote and choose Make invoice. In one step:

• a new invoice is created with the quote's lines, client, currency and style;
• it takes the quote's number when that number is free in the invoice series, and otherwise the next one;
• the quote is closed, and both stay linked.

How many you win

The Quote conversion report shows how many quotes you sent in a period, how many became invoices, the conversion rate and the value converted, quote by quote.

Turn quotes off

Don't send quotes? Turn Quotes off in Settings. The screen and the quote counts leave the app; quotes already made are kept.
